Preschool Announcement

As many of you know, we had reassigned Mrs. Johnson to the preschool division from the elementary division last week. During this past week she has been performing administrative and other duties at my request. Mrs. Johnson has been part of our preschool transition team since the summer as we’ve created a new learning environment. Many of you may remember her from the Open House held in August. Mrs. Johnson brings considerable experience in the education field. She is completing a master’s degree and is a licensed pre-school director. She has worked alongside Mrs. Sifuentes for several years.


Ms. Stella Bazaure has been a faithful employee of Palm View for many years. She has opted to accept a severance package instead of taking a reassignment which we offered, while we await the growth of the preschool. We wish her well in her future endeavors.

Ms. Stella will be opening the preschool next Monday and Tuesday in order to say goodbye to many of the parents she has grown to know over the years. I encourage parents of students she has formerly taught to drop her a note. On Tuesday, the staff will be having a farewell luncheon for her.
