After a 2 hour meeting a Marie Callendar's this past Saturday, we have decided what the float will be!Our float will consist of a school scene, complete with Christmas Tree and Chalkboard, with new trash cans sitting at desks and learning what it means to recycle. Students not on the float will be either additional recycle cans or workers picking up trash in orange vests.
Pre-schoolers and Kindergartners who wish to take their wagons and make trash trucks, street sweepers, etc, are encouraged to do so, so they don't have to walk.
There will be two bell ringing groups this year dressed as sanitation engineers.
The goal is to make as much of the float as possible with recycled materials, so
WE NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS
- Clean aluminum cans and bottles
- Cardboard/ Plastic Egg Crates
- Cardboard boxes
