FROM THE DESK OF MR. MILLER……………………
24 September 2008
Did you ever meet a know it all? While this month’s character trait has been on knowledge, it doesn’t mean everybody knows it all. Ask your student what they’ve learned this month, not just in math, science, or spelling, but about God, about how we must decide to make right choices, how we trust God no matter what, and how we treat others the way we wish to be treated. You might be surprised at how much your child’s learned!
HEAVE HO
No, it was not an ol’ fashioned barn raising, but thanks to Ted Rojas, Phil Echavarri, and Mario Garibay, the PTF shed was quickly assembled. Great job guys. If you are wondering what you can do to help, please join the PTF.
Star Light Star Bright, what’s a 3rd grader doing up at night?
Thanks again to Dr. Rob Settledge of the Whittier Rotary for providing the 3RD grade forum for Dr. Michelle Thaller from JPL/NASA to present on Infra-Red telescopes. For links to more educational programming, check our website.
