Character Connex

Thank you to Pastor JoAnne Riley for speaking in Chapel today about Character. Ask your students about the drawing whose mouth moved! It was cool! Our chapel offerings this quarter are going to Royal Family Kid’s Kamp – Please remember to bring something to give away – It shows Honor to God!

NEED TUTORING??????
Yes, sometime homework is difficult. While our teachers can help your students whenever possible, sometimes a one-on-one tutor is beneficial. Feel free to contact Christian Juarez, our math expert for any tutoring. She can be reached in the school office. Mrs. Susan Donahue, MA (one of our substitutes) also run’s Susan Ann’s Tutoring Service. Pick up a flyer in the office or contact her at 562-355-3357. Tutoring can be done on location at Palm View after school for your convenience.

TEA TIME
Wow! Approximately 60 people have signed up. We are expecting close to 100 girls, moms, aunts and sisters in 5th grade and up to come to the Tea Party and Thrift Store Fashion Show next Saturday, March 6th at 2 PM. You do not want to miss out – Remember – NO BOYS ALLOWED! Cost is only $5 per mother/daughter and $3 for everyone else.

DEEP DOWN BOOGIE CHALLENGE
The 1st grade slightly edged the 8th grade this week. The 8th grade improved dramatically, so both the 1st and the 8th grade get free dress on Monday, March 1st. Next week’s challenge is 2nd grade versus the preschool! It’s going to be a close race!
