FROM THE DESK OF MR. MILLER……………………

The School year is rapidly approaching! The teachers come back in 2 ½ weeks, and students will be here in 4 weeks, on Wednesday, September 3rd at 8 AM.

This year’s theme is Go for the Gold! Our theme passage is from I Corinthians 9:24-25:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

While we are on the subject of sports, let me introduce our new athletic director / PE Coach. As many of you know, Mr. G was able to cross the final hurdles and is moving to Modesto to work at Big Valley Christian High School. We are pleased to announce Mr. Jeremy Fowler as our new coach. Mr. Fowler is completing his M.A. degree at Biola/Talbot. Having played 3 high school varsity sports, as well as being an award winning collegiate baseball player, he is well qualified to step in and continue the tradition of sporting excellence.

We are constantly updating the website. You many now subscribe to automatic RSS news feeds into your email or other RSS reader. For those much more technically savvy than myself, there is now a Palm View Facebook, You Tube, and blog accounts set up. If there are other ways you would like to get information, please let me know, and we will work on it.

BILLING REMINDERS
Don’t forget to turn in your payments within 1 week after receiving your billings. Prompt payments help us continue the improvements around campus. You may mail payments in to the school, or drop them off in the school or church offices. If you have a concern about your account, please do not hesitate to speak with me.
