Summer is finally here! Today's Golden Crown Award ceremonies (not the Laker's) capped a very successful school year!
Every current faculty member had been offered a contract to return next year. Ms. Manning, our 4th grade teacher and educational specialist, has declined the offer as she will be moving to San Diego to take care of a family member.
We are excited to announce the return of Mrs. Andrea Johnson. Mrs. Johnson had taught 3rd grade for several years at Palm View previously.
Mrs. Gloria Sifuentes will be taking her post as the new pre-school director effective Monday, July 6th.
Ms. Gaskin intends to begin her doctorate at Pepperdine University this Fall.
Keep posted during the summer for late breaking news!

Kindergarten, Here We Come!
Don't miss the Pre-school graduation on Friday, June 12 at 7 PM. The pre-schoolers have been working hard and are ready to graduate!
Tonight, we will also be celebrating Mrs. Becky Orona's last preschool graduation at Palm View. For 17 years, she has faithfully served as the Director. Tonight will be the third opportunity over the last 2 weeks for families to share their appreciation. Palm View Christian Schools are honored to award her the Sara Santos Award for Excellence in Christian Education and Mission.
Please come out tonight, even if its been 17 years since you graduated from pre-school and show your support!

Graduation - The 8th Grade Way
Congratulations to the 8th graders! The 9th annual graduation celebrated the achievements of our great graduates.
We were honored to present the Sara Santos Award for Excellence in Christian Education and Mission to Ted Knoll, Director of First Day Whittier, and again to Becky Orona, our retiring preschool director after 17 years of service.
Thanks to Michael Long, 2008 California Teacher of the Year, for delivering a graduate charge that reminds us that Christ loves us all.
Students were surprised and glad to see former teacher, Josh Gonzales (now at Big Valley Christian High School in Modesto) attend and present the names of the graduates.
The highlight of the evening came when the graduates threw their hats -- and Chad's got stuck in his hair.
Thank you to all the parents, students, and teachers for making this another great year!
