Weekly Letter 4 March 2009

4 March 2009

GOT CHEESECAKE?

Hope –Believing that something good can come out of something bad.” Our focus for the month of March is on the character trait of Hope. Whatever happens, God has a plan—he is the puzzle master. Ask your kids tonight what they remembered in chapel today!

Our Recession Buster program is an example of HOPE. Despite the economy, we can work together and make a great school for a low tuition.

REACH ACCREDITATION UPDATE
Ms. Centmeyer and I have now completed our training. We will be applying for joint WASC/ACSI accreditation candidacy this spring!

LUNCH PROGRAM – NEW FOR 2009

If you haven’t caught up on reading the Palm View News, you’ll know that we are evaluating a new hot lunch provider for the next school year. With 12 available hot entrees each day, fresh fruit and milk provided with the lunch, we believe this will be an excellent vendor. Click on the website to learn more.

Panoramic Picture – Wednesday, March 11
This year, smile with a twist! On Wednesday, at 9 AM we will be taking our panoramic picture. This year, rather than lining up in rows, we will form the characters – “09”. This is a special free dress day. I want everyone to wear bright primary colors – yellows, greens, reds, pinks, blues, oranges, etc, to help make this picture stand out! The picture is for all students and staff PK-8. You may purchase a copy for only $16 through Lifetouch.

Cinch Bags are here!
Order new PTF sweatpants and sweatshirts!, download an application, email a link to a friend, buy flowers, eat at subway, or shop at Target – all ways you can help out our school.

Congrats to our basketball team for a victory. You guys look great in those uniforms! All games are held at Montebello Christian

With Hope

Principal, Palm View Christian School
