Lunch

We are examining new lunch vendors for the 2009-2010 year. I have met with one which I believe can provide our children a healthy lunch alternative with the ease of use many parents have requested.

With lunch costs going up every year, this particular vendor's hot lunch program is a constant $4.45 per lunch. This is about the cost of a fast food child's meal. Students can choose what they want to eat every day from a menu of 12 items. The meals also come with fruit and milk.

If you have any comments, please let me know in the next 2 weeks. I will be signing contracts for next year's food service in April.

CAMERA DAY!!! SMILE! - Tuesday, Feb 24th

Tuesday is Camera Day! What's camera day, you ask? It's the one day that all students can bring their cameras and take pictures at designated times of students and staff. We will then download all pictures (or collect cd roms) and use them for the yearbook.

If all goes well, this is the first of 3 camera days this spring! So, bring a camera, smile, and say

CHEEEEEEESEE!

Valentines Week Letter Update

Don’t forget! Free dress (red, pink, white & hearts, etc) for Valentines Day tomorrow!

Congratulations to JBQ!
In case you hadn’t heard, our JBQ team headed North to Hanford, CA on Saturday and took 3rd place! This was our highest finish ever! Julia Garcia also took 3rd highest individual honors! Good job everybody! Even if you were not able to make this long road trip, but still practiced with everybody, you are part of the team and share the rewards! Mark you calendars for the last JBQ tournament for this year on March 14th!

RAPID RE-REGISTRATION

As many of you have heard, we have made a guarantee that there will not be combination classes in grades K-4 next year. Each class will be 1 room / 1 teacher. The 5-8 grades will continue with subject specialists and rotating class schedules. We also have a commitment to a full 180 days of pupil instruction (not 175 as many local Christian schools have).

SHOW YOUR PTF SOME LOOOVVE!!!
That’s rights, this is PTF month. If you haven’t ordered a yearbook or joined the PTF, it’s not too late! A simple contribution of $20 makes your entire family a member. Over the years these monies have purchased class room and playground equipment, paid for field trip buses, built the float, helped out the school play, and supported other events in countless ways. Please join today!

The PTF has also put together some great deals on school clothing – sweat shirts, sweat pants and gym cinch bags. SHOW YOUR SCHOOL PRIDE! Order todayUniform approved!

REMINDER- CAMPUS CLOSED ON MONDAY!

THE LAST WORD
Why Palm View? I’m asked that question quite often, both from new parents and occasionally returning parents as they debate whether the financial sacrifice of tuition is worth it. Quite simply, our faculty set us apart from any other school – more experience, more formal training, and a caring commitment to true integrated, multi cultural Christian Education on the cutting edge.
